Wall beds
Full or queen wall beds that fold up flush into custom cabinetry — disappearing completely when you need the floor back.
Home Organization
Atlantic Source designs and installs custom Murphy beds — wall beds with soft-close mechanisms, plus desk and shelving combos — across Delaware. Turn a spare room into a guest room in seconds without giving up the space full-time. Every wall bed is built to your room and priced during your free in-home consultation.
A Murphy bed lets a single room be an office, gym, or hobby space most of the year and a real guest room when company comes. We build the bed and the cabinetry around it so it looks like a designed wall, not a fold-down gadget.

Smooth, counter-balanced hardware that lets one person raise and lower the bed easily and quietly, with no slam and no struggle.
A wall bed paired with a fold-away or fixed desk, so a home office stays usable and the bed drops down only when you need it.
Surrounding shelving, drawers, and cabinets that frame the bed and add real storage — bedding, books, and everyday items all close at hand.
Reading lights and accent lighting built into the cabinetry, so the wall works as a guest room and a finished feature.
Pair a wall bed with a full built-in office wall for a true dual-purpose room. See our home office service.
A Murphy bed gets used and folded hundreds of times, so the hardware and the cabinetry both have to be right. We build with quality mechanisms and furniture-grade finishes that hold up to daily use and Delaware's coastal humidity.

Pricing depends on the bed size and how much cabinetry surrounds it — a standalone wall bed is a smaller project than a full wall with a desk, shelving, lighting, and storage. The lift mechanism and finish choices also factor in. We don't quote from a generic price list; you'll get a detailed, fixed quote during your free in-home consultation once we've seen the room and the wall.
Yes. A modern wall bed uses a standard mattress, not a thin fold-out pad, so guests sleep on a real bed. The mechanism supports the mattress fully when it's down, and the counter-balanced hardware means you're never fighting the bed to set it up or put it away. Most guests can't tell it folds into the wall at all.
Absolutely. We use counter-balanced, soft-close mechanisms designed so a single person can raise and lower the bed smoothly and quietly, with no slam and no heavy lifting. The hardware does the work, which is what makes a wall bed practical for everyday use rather than a once-a-year novelty.
Yes — desk and office combos are some of our most popular Murphy bed projects. We can pair a wall bed with a fold-away or fixed desk, or build it into a full home office wall so the room works as a workspace most of the time and a guest room when you need it.
Yes — every custom Murphy bed we install carries a lifetime residential warranty on the system and hardware, including the lift mechanism. We've been building in Delaware since 2005, so the warranty is backed by a local company you can actually reach.
